ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This BSc (Hons) Computing is available as a one-year course to those who have completed, or expect to complete, an appropriate HND in a computing subject with at least 2 distinctions and 3 merits. Entry is direct to stage 3 of the degree programme. Level of entry is dependent upon performance in, and relevance of, the Higher National qualification or Advanced Diploma undertaken. A relevant Foundation Degree passed with distinction, or the successful completion of three years of a four year undergraduate honours degree programme, may be accepted in lieu of an HND.

Appropriate, relevant equivalent overseas qualifications will also be considered. Candidates whose first language is not English will also be expected to possess an University approved English Language qualification such as IELTS at 6.0 or TOEFL at 550 (paper based test), 220 (computer based test) or 83 (internet test).
