The project titles below are an indication of the types of project our students would be expected to undertake.
  • A Web Based Appointment Manager. Design of the client side and server side processes for a distributed business information management

  • Java Mail API Evaluation and Demonstration. Implementation of an e-mail system in Java and comparison with other mail tools.

  • Call Shop Billing and Control System. Low cost international calls to rival BT are offered in call shops, this system will provide an automated way of calculating call costs that can be used by computer-illiterate call shop staff.

  • Data Mining for Business Intelligence. The design analysis and implementation of a classification algorithm for use in exploring unclassified records.

  • The Development of a Prototype Business Information System using INGRES for a Number of different Scenarios.

  • A Web Page Selling Computer Hardware and Software. Design of highly visual site with full eCommerce functionality.
