The BSc Computing and Information Systems aims to provide the opportunity for students to acquire a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Computing Science. The course seeks to enable students to develop knowledge, practical skills and understanding in relation to the analysis and design of information systems in organisations.
In particular, students will be enabled by the course to develop understanding of systems and technologies from a user/client perspective.
Honours students will be enabled by the course to demonstrate the ability to propose, plan, take responsibility for and evaluate Information Systems related projects in a professional manner.
