The BSc Computer Science aims to provide the opportunity for students to acquire a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Computer Science. The course seeks to enable students to develop knowledge, practical skills and understanding in relation to computer systems from both hardware and systems software perspectives.

This course offers students the greatest flexibility of option choice amongst all the Department's suite of undergraduate programmes. Honours students will be enabled by the course to demonstrate the ability to propose, plan, take responsibility for and evaluate Computer Science related projects in a professional manner.
