You may be returning to learning, or would like to develop your study skills, before tackling a degree programme. If you don't have the formal academic qualifications necessary for admission onto one of our undergraduate degree programmes, then you should consider our Informatics Foundation course. We also offer a 'Foundation Degree in Enterprise in IT' which is designed for students who would like to start their own IT-based business.

Our Informatics Foundation Year is a full-time course given over two semesters. It will equip you with a range of technical, intellectual, professional, and interpersonal skills, so that you will be fully prepared to undertake degree studies on one of the undergraduate courses from the School of Informatics.
