The BEng/MEng Software Engineering courses aim to provide the opportunity for students to acquire a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Computer Science. The courses aim to enable students to develop knowledge and understanding of the practical and theoretical elements of software engineering alongside acquisition of practical skills and abilities that will prepare them well to take their place in industry or commerce.

Honours students will be enabled by the course to demonstrate the ability to propose, plan, take responsibility for and evaluate Software Engineering related projects in a professional manner.
