Many computers are equipped with a 'dual-boot' facility, which means you can easily switch from Windows to Linux applications.

SOFTWARE AVAILABLE IN THE DEPARTMENT
We endeavour to keep all of our computers up-to-date with current "industry standard" software. This means that you will be familiar with many of the applications that are used in industry when you graduate or if you decide to take the optional placement year.
